system requirements

Econveyance is a web application. All that's necessary to get started is a modern web browser.

Web Browser

Econveyance uses JavaScript and AJAX extensively. We have tested and support the following web browsers:

For users of Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows VISTA

Internet Explorer 7,

Internet Explorer 8,

FireFox 3.x (download),

Chrome 3 (download)

For users of Mac

FireFox 3.x

Note: Econveyance has not been extensively tested for Mac OS. If you encounter problems using econveyance on Mac please help us by reporting it to our very helpful desk.

Word Processor

Microsoft Word 2003 or higher. (With all service packs installed)

Additional Software

Econveyance has been designed to support a paper or paperless workflow. For a complete paperless process you will need the following software:

Adobe Acrobat Pro 7.0 or higher is required if you plan to use the electronic filing system (EFS). If you do not use EFS, the free Acrobat Reader (download) will be sufficient.

Java (download) is required in order to upload documents or files from your system into your econveyance file.

Internet Connection

For individual user or organization with less than 3 users, we recommand the basic broadband internet packages from your ISP. As an example, "High Speed Lite" for cable internet or ADSL packages

For organization with 3 to 6 users, we recommend a broadband internet connection with more bandwidth than the basic packages from your ISP.  As an example, "High Speed" for cable internet or ADSL packages

For organization with more than 6 users, we strongly recommand getting a dedicated, commercial-grade internet connection for the sole use of econveyance. Consult your ISP about getting the "Managed High Speed" internet connection packages.

If you require assistance assessing your internet requirements, feel free to contact our very helpful desk.

Hardware

There is a wide variety of hardware configuration; therefore, it is impossible to list them all out here. As a rule of thumb, if your computer runs the browsers mentioned above with adequate performance and you have adequate internet bandwidth then your hardware should be sufficient.
